GAUGE SHADE™ is designed to grip the outside edge of the
instrument bezel. The spring tension of the material and the
narrow inner lip firmly grasp the bezel ring and hold the shade
in any position desired. The shade can easily be removed for
cleaning or repositioning as they just "snap-on and off".

GAUGE SHADE™ will fit most standard 3.5" and 2.25"
diameter gauges but due to the many styles of bezel
design may not "snap-on" all makes and models.

GAUGE SHADE™ will fit bezel sizes within these dimensions:


Minimum outer bezel diameter-- 2.12" Maximum outer bezel diameter-- 2.5"		Minimum outer bezel diameter-- 3.5" Maximum outer bezel diameter-- 4.0"

If your gauge OUTSIDE BEZEL DIAMETER falls within this range GAUGE SHADE™ will "snap on". For flush mount gauges or sizes other than in the above chart GAUGE SHADE™ can be attached directly to the panel with adhesive. The mounting area of the shade is wide enough ( 0.33 inch) to allow for a solid glue surface. Use a good quality, weather resistant adhesive such as silicone or double-sided tape for a solid, permanent mount.

Function

GAUGE SHADE™ is designed to shade the gauge display from the direct sun.
As instrument panels come in many shapes and sizes, GAUGE SHADE™ is available in 2 models.

30-Degree model	20-Degree model

The 30-degree model provides more shading and is useful where panels are flat or slightly angled from the users viewpoint.	The 20-degree model provides less shade and should be used on panels that are vertical or steeply angled.

GAUGE SHADE™ also reduces glare and makes reading LCD and LED gauges much easier in direct sunlight. Used at night GAUGE SHADE™ reflects the instruments internal lighting which increases illumination. The "snap on" fit allows the shade to be positioned for optimal shading and view.
